We came in on a very busy Sunday, service was still very prompt and food came out fast. Our server Jordan was a delight and really made our morning. The whole restaurant is clean, and the food came out in huge portions for a great price. We will definitely be coming back more often.
Darlene welcomed me with a smile and "Hello Murray." She was so kind to Tang Li on her first day in her dreamland, the United States of America! Tang Li enjoyed warm fruit and a cup of hot as Darlene smiled.
I had the steak and eggs with country potatoes and a biscuit with gravy--everything was solid, but the standout was their specialty spicy sauce. I'm obsessed! It took the meal to another level. For dessert, we tried the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream, and wow--it was incredible. Huge portion, easily enough for 3-4 people. My friend and I shared and still couldn't finish it. Service was great, and overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely be back!
Amazing food and amazing service!!! If you come down don't forget to grab a mimosa with your delicious meal this was absolutely delicious and our server was amazing!
This is a very busy location, but it's always great. You get greeted right away by the host or hostess. The breakfast is always delicious and it's big portion so you may want to share with someone. My go to is the pancake , eggs and bacon. It's delicious. My son likes to get that country fried steak and eggs and he always enjoys it. The restaurant is fairly big but during a busy time it gets very packed. The restrooms are very clean and the restaurant is clean as well. It's a family style restaurant with great comfort food. There's also beer and wine for the alcohol drinkers.
My husband and I recently had breakfast at Black Bear Diner. He ordered the corned beef hash, and I ordered the Bear's Choice (eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy). It was really crowded so we sat at the counter. Service was great, and the food was good!
Okay, so when we walked in here on a Sunday morning and the WHOLE world was congregating here, we figured, this place has to be halfway decent for there to be such traffic. Halfway decent doesn't even BEGIN to describe it - this place is the BOMB DOT COM! If you love your serving portions the size of your head, and for the everything on the plate to still feel thoughtfully delicious, then this is the place to be. Mom got the veggie omelette and my husband got the seasonal pancakes - both absolutely LOVED their food. I chose a bowl of creamy grits with a biscuit as a side, and I tell you, the biscuit is damn near the size of a football, so it was a meal in and of itself. The grits were perfect and the biscuit is absolutely to die for!!! Highly recommend this joint....
